Sally Cronin kindly shared a post from my archives. In case you missed it, here’s my bat encounter!

Loved this post! Also reminds me how envious I am of your writing space … 😀 ❤

The bats are back, Julie, so don’t be too envious. Ha ha. I have to make another concerted effort in June to plug the holes, and then hopefully I’ll finish my first draft! They’re very sneaky!

What?! That’s a bummer. They are sneaky, and can get into incredibly tight spots. Good luck with the de-batting 😀

Read the review of your book on Smorgasbord site and loved the following quote from your book ” we study a drop of rain and think we understand the sea”. You stated my whole philosophy in so few words Diana.

Oh yes, the battle with nature’s outdoor creatures. Ha! And it really is the poop that is the problem. “Dear mice, I’d be glad for you to warm yourself in the basement if you’d kindly relieve yourselves outdoors.” My pleas have been ignored. Go figure 😂

Oh, those mice. I have them below us in the “crawl” space, and occasionally they crawl upstairs. Ugh. Unfortunately, the bats are back, so I have some more work to do come June. 😀 Thanks for stopping by, my friend.

She’s so wonderful, Robert, constantly looking for ways to support others. I didn’t have to do any work either!!! Just gave her the okay to browse. I hope you enjoy the batty post. 🙂
