Aiming for the stars

A poem from Sonia. I hope you enjoy. Happy Sunday.

Postcard from life lately

Marianne Sopala
That was the path life gave you.
A restless road,
a dark cold night,
no turning back.
Today you say no, no more,
I won’t let go, I will be strong,
I will aim for the stars,
I will follow my heart, I will open it up,
I will be brave!

And, corageously, you lay all of you in the tree branch cradle and point it to moon…

I will aim for no less than the stars, that’s my home,
in the midst of the lights, in the sky, amoung planets, and galaxies, supernovas…
And you say: I’d look for you in the sky,
somewhere way up high,
where the stars collide
and even a world apart, we will be bind, forever bind…

This post is inspired on the image by Marianne Sopala that was off of Pixabay.  This is in responce to D. Wallace Peach’s February…

It is a big challenge when we are reaching for the unknown. Trying is all we have to go for! A wonderful piece Diana. Been thinking of you!
