Haiku One: A Blue Grey Day

A final inspiration based on the January prompt from Robert.

Art by Rob Goldstein

Whiff of snow
this blue-grey day
an icy fog takes awhile

(C) Rob Goldstein 2019

Inspired by a post on cosistories who was inspired by a michnavs response to the January #writingPrompt on Myths of the Mirror. I call this a Haiku but know it isn’t. I don’t usually take challenges so I hope I did this right. 🙂

  1. I confess, the blue-grey is intriguing, and Rob caught the sense of it perfectly.

  2. I enjoyed Rob’s haiku, Diana.

  3. Love it! The essence of why I love Haiku, Senryu and other shorter poetic styles is in the potency of word choice, simply because there are just fewer of them to play around with. I think you nailed it!

  4. Maybe nit Haiku, but creates a lovely image and mood
