A craving
by Balroop Singh
Frozen in time
With amorphia of ages
I sat waiting for love
It did come at last!
They came in hordes
With shovels and hoes
To dig around me
And create a cover
I am awning them
With arrows piercing my soul
Blinded by dirt and deceit
I crave for a new world…

Oh, marvelous! Kudos to Balroop for stepping outside the box. It’s a lovely poem-story.
I wonder what other types of responses could be used for the prompt. Hmmm…. maybe something to warm up the big frozen guy? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fYL_qiDYf0
Hugs!

Ha ha. Nice crackling fire might do it. So far most of the responses are somewhat “chilling,” but plenty of variety too. Stay warm, my friend.
