In the story of The Sorcerer’s Garden by D. Wallace Peach, we see the overall story as fascinating and rich in details that excite our need for fantasy and storytelling. At first glimpse, it is a story about dragons, courage, adventure, war, soul-thieves, and the good versus the bad in people.
The story is really two stories, that in the end, become one where fantasy and reality merge. The main characters, Madlyn, Cody, Dustin, and Lillian, each have different world views that conflict with each other, but all are necessary for everyone to cope with the approaching sense of loss that is meaningful to each one, a natural human response to things out of our control…

Aw, Mike, thanks. I did this one myself on MS Word. Yes, Word. I had to switch out most of my covers with professionally done ones, but I kept this one. I’m so glad you like it 🙂

Word? Not a graphics program? What magic spell did you have to cast to obtain these beautiful images from such a clunky word processing program?

I purchased the images from Shutterstock, but the editing and blending, etc., I use Word. It actually has some capability. Doesn’t do everything I want it to, but it does a lot. And it’s free. 🙂

I’ll have to add this to my reading list. I’ve recently started using a tablet to read (gasp!) but it’s sure been handy as of late reading that way! Congrats on the great review!

I love the cover of the Socerer’s Garden, but I haven’t read it or bought it, I have gotten the Rose Shield Trilogy that I received sometime before my birthday which was a gift. It will be my pile for 2018, wishing myself some good reads. Have a happy Sunday!
