Debby Gies over at D. G. Kaye Writer was kind enough to feature “yours truly” over at her place. Debby is a proficient blogger and her site is full of interviews, reviews, wonderful tips on writing and blogging, and shared articles of interest. If you enjoy memoirs, her books win high praise – I’ve given her a few 5-star reviews myself!
She also puts together a wonderful feature, and I’m delighted to be hanging out at her kitchen table with a big cup of coffee. If you can spare a moment, stop by for a visit and say hi! On to the interview:
Who Has a New Book?
I’m thrilled to welcome today’s featured author, friend and guest, Diana Wallace Peach. Diana is a dynamo author who writes and produces books at lightning speed these days. She has disciplined herself well with the time she commits to her writing, yet manages to make time to blog about all things writing on her blog Myths of the Mirror.
Today we’re going to get to know Diana and learn about what inspires her writing, and I’m going to be asking her about the ‘book writing break’ she is threatening to take, to find out if that can actually happen… (Continue to Debby’s site).
That’s awesome! The Whoopi Goldberg scene from Ghost! 😀 That’s what it’s like! LOL! Great interview and looking forward to this series so much. (Love how you got the name for your blog, too. “I need a WHAT, now?”)

Hi Sarah, I’m starting to catch up on comments I missed while away. It IS like that scene from Ghost, isn’t it? That’s one of the things I love about this thing we do – those characters knocking on the skull and demanding a hearing. Ha ha. Have a great day and I’ll be over soon to see what’s up at your place. 😀

Please. Pfft. Enjoy your time. No worries. There will be more posts. No need to have a relaxing break and come back to overwhelm. I’ll see you when I see you. Look forward to that, whenever it is. (Yes…it REALLY is like that scene.) 😀

Great interview, Diana! Man, to be in the thick of nature like you are would be awesome. I hear ya about procrastinating on the things that aren’t so much fun, like cleaning… Can’t wait to get to that part of my TBR where I can start digging into the new series. And tell that muse to get a bigger basket for ideas; I suspect by the end of your hiatus you’ll be itching to create a new series 🙂

Thanks for the visit, Julie. I’m not writing and yet I feel busier than ever. What’s up with that? Ha ha. I’m hoping to dive into something at the end of the summer. Maybe plot before then, but wait until the rain starts up to begin the dedicated work. We’ll see. I’m just enjoying the sunshine! Happy Writing. 😀

Lol. I have an old post about writing in pajamas, going to the post office in slippers, never getting dressed for days at a time. It’s part of my eccentric writer’s persona. 😀 Thanks for stopping by to read, Jess. Have a great day!

Sigh. I guess I’d better wait before my first book is published before I try that. 😉

I had already commented on the interview over at Debby’s site but it’s nice to visit it again today. I’m not thinking of you responding to our comments while you’re in your PJs 😉 I’m smiling. Keep up the great work with the books, Diana! ♥

I never did get dressed today – other than to put a checkered pajama top over my snowman pajamas because I was cold. Ha ha. All true, Christy. Thanks for the added comment and the chuckle. 😀

Thanks, Steven. I’ll have to start making things up soon, since everyone’s going to be yawning at the same old… That will be fun 🙂

I doubt they’ll be yawning. But starting fresh will be fun… given enough time to have your non-writing fun. 🙂

Thanks for the visit, Mary. I wasn’t a writer when I first saw that movie (1990!) but I think that scene works for many of us. Have a great day and have fun with the characters clambering in your head! 🙂

was it a new comment in spam Diane? I am working with askimet, I thought it was straightened out.

From Tuesday, May 30. I end up in spam quite a bit. It’s a strange thing that WP can’t seem to get a handle on.

Yeah, no reblog button. I noticed that this morning too. Thanks for the tweet, my friend! That works 🙂 I had Tornado Boy for the long weekend and have lots of blog catching up to do. I’ll be over soon 😀

Hi Richard. Just thought I’d chime in here re: reblogging. Many of us that are self hosted don’t have the option of a reblog button. ‘Press this’ is a wonderful tool in all of our dashboard which allow us to reblog by capturing posts or anything at all on the web. I’ve written a few posts about it if you’re interested you can go to my page and type ‘press this’ into the search bar. 🙂

Diana, when you have the time here is one of the posts I wrote about Press This https://dgkayewriter.com/wordpress-issues-reblogging-feature/

Thanks! I use it all the time for my Sunday Blog Shares (and I think I learned about it from you, originally). I just didn’t know about having to “search” for the button. That’s good to know. 🙂

Actually, once you have ‘press this’ it’s automatically added to your top toolbar of your page so you can click on it from whatever page you’re on that you want to press. 🙂
