The Sorcerer’s Garden

Have you visited Kevin Cooper’s new digs Raves & Reviews? It’s a welcoming place for authors and readers alike. Kevin, a talented author in his own right, provides two services. One, he gives authors a place to Rave about their new releases, and two, as an avid reader, he provides objective, honest, and sincere Reviews. Kevin recently reviewed The Sorcerer’s Garden and left me with a huge smile. πŸ™‚

  2. Awesome, Diana! Wish I could read all the good stuff all at once, because then I could enjoy it all at the same time! I haven’t been reading much fantasy lately, but this one (and the rest of yours) are at the top of my list πŸ™‚

  4. Well-deserved review. I just finished the entire book – didn’t want it to end. I’ve never read fantasy before, but I hafta tell you, I LOVED Madlyn and Dustin and Cody and the whole crew. And the grandmother? I think she’s my favorite. So glad I ‘took a chance’ and read your book. I just reviewed it on Amazon. Kudos.

What a wonderful review and no wonder you’re beaming. He’s right though, every page filled with superb writing, the flow between the real and fantasy world spine-tingling. Wishing you a lovely weekend, Diana.πŸ˜€

This is a wonderful review providing a window onto just how versatile your writing is. You start off with a prosaic little tale of a young lady with the need for a job to escape an overbearing mother and suddenly turn into competition for the darkest of the science fantasy writers yet I doubt you lost sight of the humour as well.
This should bring readers by the bus load.

    • What’s funny, David, is that I think this is one of my lighter books. It’s so interesting to me how different readers interpret books. It was a great review for which I’m hugely grateful. Hugs back to you, my friend πŸ™‚

Wonderful, isn’t it, when a reader not only reads but tells you he’s enriched! If only they all knew how precious each one is!

    • So true, Philippa. There are those special reviews where you feel as though the reader got exactly what you were going for. It’s a great feeling. Thanks for the visit. You haven’t posted in a while. Are you writing?
